WHERE'S WALDO?

It all began on a night like any other. The sun was setting on the horizon; the birds were nestling in for the night, chicks under wing, and the smell of home-baked bread was in the air. I was sitting in a dimly lit room, lazily scrolling through old photos on the computer. The picture seemed like any other. My brothers were standing in the forefront, covered in mud and smiling like children. But what I saw next has changed my life forever. Out of the corner of my eye I saw him. I instantly focused in on him and moved closer. There he was standing in the background: horizontal stripes, hat, covered in mud, and desperately searching for the place he was suppose to be. It was in the moment that I knew exactly what I needed to do. Somehow, I had to find myself a shirt with those unmistakable red and white stripes, and fashion myself a hat of that same red and white. I could not rest until I had all the pieces that would make me a mirror image of him....of Waldo. It was harder than I could have ever imagined, but I mustered up the courage that I did not know I had, and found all the pieces that I needed to begin my quest. Now all I had to do was wait for the perfect moment when I could do what I knew I was destined to do.........and that was first to cut the melodramatics, and second go to places where lots of people were taking pictures and pop up randomly in the background looking confused or lost. I haven't done it yet, but someday! I mean how funny would that be? Just picture someone sitting there looking through their pictures and all the sudden "Waldo?" I seriously think that would be SO AMAZING!!! Since, I have been able to do that yet, I decided to convince everyone at work to dress up like Waldo for Halloween, and convince I did!

Do you SEE THIS?!?!? There 23 of us. 23! There were only 5 party poopers at my office that didn't. It was SO MUCH FUN!!!!!
Dr Sorensen even came in on her day off to participate in the magic that was Halloween, and she brought her grandson that was already planning on being Waldo.
This is every single Doctor. That I right! I got every single one in on this.
Also I made all those DARN HATS!!! I think that was my biggest selling point. I told them I would build them a hat so they didn't have to find one on their own. All they had to do was find the shirt. And even that was done by me and my cohort Becca. We managed to track them down on line and order them for most of them.
I SERIOUSLY WORK WITH THE BEST PEOPLE EVER!!!!
We had fun all day. It was all around good fun. Plus I had a cane that I could take around and whack people with.
Here are some fun little group shots.
I was going to try and get a picture that looked like a picture out of a Where's Waldo book, but no one else seemed to grasp my vision so that didn't work out so well.
Also if you notice I am a little more orange that the rest of the Waldo's I was more of an 'Earthy Waldo', I was the self proclaimed 'Granola Waldo'.
That day at work was SO FUN!!!!
Later we had some real cute trick-or-treaters show up, we had some food out of a pumpkin and watched some football. It was great fun.
Here is Waldo and a very non-scary, and very pretty witch.
Brenna doing her best cheer, and Kaylee doing her best Jesse pose.

Here are some one on one with all the cuties!!!
Then a big group photo. That is my Dad there in his classic Army Man uniform, and Nate in the classic football helmet.
And one last adorable one of the DUCK!!! He loved that costume. He is such a funny kid!!!
ALL in ALL......it was AWESOME!!!!!
