Let's Begin in Juneau

Well to begin this huge trip/family reunion we flew into Juneau. We were suppose to be on the same plane as my Aunt Kay, Uncle Bill, and their Grandson Josh, but there was some problem with identification at the airport and they were pushed back a flight. So my Parents and I flew out alone on this journey. We did have a great surprise though, we ran into my Cousins Justin and Jenny and there youngest Mark in Seattle and flew with them the rest of the way. Another surprise is that we walked off the plane to a friendly face. My Uncle John was waiting there for us.

After the quick check-in to the hotel and shuttle back. We headed out on a Salmon Fishing Trip with a friend of my Uncle's. It was really beautiful.

An example of the view we had.

This is a picture with my sweet color accent feature on my camera. I was playing with it a lot cause we didn't have much excitement in the fishing part of the trip. I am not going to complain at all though cause I had an awesome time!

Here is boat

In the end we caught a Salmon that was smaller than the bait (it was a snag), and we also reeled in a small cod. So at least we caught something!

Anyway the next day we headed out to the Mendenhall Glacier. By this time more family had come and so we had a pretty big group headed out to the Glacier. The trail that takes you right up the the waterfall on the side of the Glacier was blocked cause of the flood, but do you think that stopped the Bringhurst's we still made it up there. It was worth it too cause it was beautiful.

This is before we headed up. Aunt Patty, Uncle Ron, Uncle Bill, Cousin Josh, and Aunt Kay

Then we headed over to the ferry to head out to Skagway. There were tons of family on this cause ever more family had shown up. It was really awesome cause everywhere you turned there was a Bringhurst lookin at you. Tierney, Lauren, and I sat and played cards and every five minutes another familar face walked by.

One of the walk bys: My Parents

Another walk by: Aunt Patty and Uncle Ron

This only a few hours long, around 6 hours, was really fun though. The rest to be continued in the post
