A Weekend Long Celebration

I haven't had many exciting things happen lately to blog about. My Roommate Syd recently turned the ripe ole' age of 25 though, and since I participated in the Weekend Long Celebration. I thought I would share some of the funny photos.

We went to Robintino's for dinner on Saturday with some Friends and her Siblings which was really fun.

I had to put in this picture of Syd, Bryce, and Paige. I think it is quite funny.

Here I am with the Birfday girl.

Here is a CUTE picture of Danie, Syd, and I

Then we headed home for the first of many cakes and since there were no candles in the house we used these three lighters so she could blow out some candles.

Here is Sydney with her Birthday present from Lori and I. Yep that is a life-size Edward cut-out. Here she is kissing it with Lori and Erika in tow.

On the actual anniversary of her birth we went to Olive Garden and then out for Ice Cream.

Here is her 4th and final cake (cake 2 and 3 not pictured, along with the cupcake and cookies(yeah I don't think we were lacking in the sugar department)). Then we went to a late night showing of New Moon. On the way home for a last hurrah, I spilled my Dr. Pepper on her.....twice. Hehehe.

So anyway that was my weekend. Happy Birthday Syd!

One Year Anniversary

I am the kind of person who sees the title of a post on my blog roll and tries to figure out what that post is going to be about during that 5 minutes it takes to load the page (very old computer). If you are like me, reading this title could cause some confusion, anger, excitement, and most likely some heartache. Let's just get all those thoughts running through your head out in the open.

Some might say:
-One Year! That is really great. Who is the lucky guy?
-Finally! It is about time she started dating someone. How old is she now? 26! Single! In Utah!
-She is dating someone and she never told me! What a Jerk!
-What the.................
-She is dating someone, since when, well since a year ago I guess.
-I don't get it.

That is where the confusion, anger, and excitement come in. Now here comes the heartache (Sorry Mom), but this not your romantic type anniversary. I have not been secretly dating someone for a year (trust me, the whole world knows if I go on a single date). Yes, I am 26 and 1/2, living in Utah, and 100% Single. And, Yes, I am totally fine with this cause I am loving every minute.

Sorry for the high hopes, but this is just your standard I have been blogging for One Whole Year! type Anniversary. So here's to you all my blogging buddies. Thank you to those who talked me into this blogging business. I have used this way more than I thought I would, and I have had a lot of fun doing it.

So here is a big fat Happy Anniversary to Me!
